Chestatee Artists began presenting the Dahlonega Arts & Wine Festival in 2016. Each year, we have seen growth in the attendance as folks enjoy the triple attractions of Art, Wine, and Jazz. What could be better! We select quality work by creative artists and crafters for our Art Market in our lovely downtown. Free jazz performances take place in Hancock Park, just one block from the square. As our region has been named the Dahlonega Plateau, we bring in local and regional wineries to provide attendees with a real “wine tasting experience.”
The festival brings in thousands of visitors to our community, as well as attracting local residents to downtown Dahlonega. Business sponsors have a valuable opportunity to support the festival AND gain exposure to a wide audience. Additionally, Sponsors know that they are supporting the efforts of Chestatee Artists (a 501 c 3 organization), as they give back to the community through this successful fundraiser. The main recipient of the funds raised is the Lumpkin County School System with support for their arts programs, as well as other community arts and cultural entities, like the Georgia Pick and Bow Program.
Businesses can review the Sponsor Levels & Benefits form and consider joining the effort to support the community while increasing exposure to their business. Individuals are also encouraged to be sponsors as Friends of the Festival. A successful festival is a win-win for local businesses, as well as for our community.
